Two weeks ago I joined the local dollmaking group in Motueka which meet for some hours every Wednesday morning, have some tea, talk a lot and do some seriously lovely handcrafting. With the annual spring fair on all their minds the most beautiful creations come to life: little dolls, elvens, puppets, animals; felt, sewn, knitted – there’s no place else I would like to be. In the following see my foxes (next week it’s going to be cats ;)
