The Craters of the Moon

Once I heard someone brag that all it needs in NZ is a decent sheepwool pullover. When it’s windy, it covers you from the cold, when the rain starts, the lanolin on the wool will keep you dry, when the rain is over you just take it off, shake it (like a wet dog) and pull it around your waist so its smell will hold the sandflies at bay when the sun comes back.

After we saw that a 10 metre cabel, fixed to one foot of the platform, was holding us in case of a “likely slip”, we were keen to move on. Bye craters!
