Pilch Point Walk

The night at the cabin was very quiet, unexpectedly. Seems that the season hasn’t started yet, only the mosquitos are already at full power (hungry little monsters at the windows and doors, eager to come in but we didn’t let them, rather knot the legs and wait until the morning with the next toilet visit). After a little breakfast and morning tea we started off to the green hills walk, a beautiful, 3 km long promenade in a green valley, crossing a sheep herd, walking along a lake and through a tight bushy area that actually grew on a dune from which we suddenly could see the sea … magnificent!

Unfortunately we were not patient enough to outwait low tide to finish the walk on the beach back to the trailer park, so just turned and did the green hills walk again. Maybe next time around ;)
