Masterton – Queen Elizabeth Park

With a prognosed rainy weather today we wanted to have a look around Masterton in the morning and later go to the Castle Point (at the coast). A couple from Masterton we met yesterday at the pinnacles recommended the Queen Elizabeth Park as a great walking area with nice playground. We found out it also has a minigolf lawn, bird’s house, fernery, crocket club and cementary attached. The last photograph shows the memorial dedicated to Joseph Masters, founder of Masterton.
