Rabbit Island

This time we picked a low tide time for a walk, the great wide flat beach opening in front of us…

Anna and Emsi had a fast pace and were gone within minutes, having a dad-daughter bonding time. That left me with the little one, building castles, collecting crab claws and other (hopefully) empty shells.

Just had to stop here for while, it’s a perfect natural root house (the dunes have been washed away while the tree stayed with its roots intact and later got cut down). People added driftwood and shells, hanging from a stick – in Austria, we would call this “Mobile”, like you would call your telephone, which we would call “Handy”, but that’s not used in the same context (I really love this word games).
