A little town with nothing special to see … or is there? We thought it was very quiet. Until. That historic steam train came by at a horrific 5 km/h, right in the middle of the main street. And of course Kawakawa is the home of THE toilet – and a dozen other Hundertwasser imitators who want to surf the same wave.
