Karikari Moana

There are many bays on the Karikari Peninsula, but the land around them is mostly owned and the roads closed. So even the “4-metres at each beach is open to anybody”-rule doesn’t make it easier to get there. Only way: Go down where it’s OK and walk for hours (preferably at low tide). We didn’t walk much today, it was a hot summer day (the sun is still very strong in the north) and we got a little sun burnt. Found heaps of shells and a lot of good pics.
